  1. Ahhhh, these photos are amazing! I love the snowflake shots, the family/home shots, and the ice sculpture shots, too. I am so in love with the lighting and the overall Alaska-ness of these photos. I've always wanted to visit up there and now I want to go even more! Did you grow up in Alaska?

    1. Awe, thank you! I can't get over some of those snowflakes!!! They are so unreal!! It's crazy to see the detail in them!! I took a bunch more with my phone! Thank you! I was aiming for quiet, cool, and relaxing for the emotions/feel of the photos. I have been trying to find the perfect soundtrack for them... sometimes I like to have a song to go with how the images make me feel. I sort of have one in mind... but I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on it :) I sort of did... I lived there for about 4 ½ years when I was younger (my dad was in the Army so we moved around) - but my parents moved back in 2006 and to me it has just always felt like home. :) You should totally go visit!! My parents live in North Pole, AK which is near Fairbanks!

  2. These shots are beautiful. I have always wanted to visit Alaska (no the Air Force stuck me in North Dakota, just as cold not as cool).
