things i like

A little bit ago, I wrote a post about things I didn't like and I thought I should share some things I DO like. And since I know you are dying to know, I'll get right to it.

1. An unmade bed.
There is just something so inviting about an unmade bed, it's like all day your place is being held, like a bookmark holding the page in your favorite book.

2. Synchronized things.
It makes my heart happy to see things move in synchronization! Especially cute kittens.

3. Jimmy Fallon.
He is just a likable guy. His big smile and how he plays games with his guests on his show or maybe his thank you notes, or #hashtags. I mean, who wouldn't like Jimmy?!

4. Parks and Recreation.
Because duh. We love this show! Every character has LITERALLY found a way into our hearts! If you are a fan, check out this list of 20 things that are awesome. My favorite is number 20. Classic.

5. Target.
No explanation necessary.

-Broken a bone | I have had falls and accidents before, but thankfully I've never had to endure that pain.

-Had a cavity | in the 28+ years that I have walked this planet, I have successfully avoided this. I wouldn't mind continuing my streak.

-Used 'LOL' | I'm just not about that yo! (this bullet point, does not count)

-Found a four leaf clover | I have searched high and low all, alas none have been found. It's a dream...

-Gotten a tattoo | I thoroughly considered getting one for my 18th birthday, I was going to have my brother draw it and I had it all planned out, but I just couldn't go through with it... and now I just couldn't think of anything that I would want permanently.

-Owned a lava lamp | I can't tell you how badly I wanted one of these growing up. I thought they were the epitome of cool, and obviously I'm not, because I have never owned one.

What have you never ever?

Currently

Planning | blog posts and my weeks - I have a lot of work to catch up on with Etsy, GAP, and at home! So I am planning out time for all the different projects and work that need to be done.

Hoping | that I can get this mess with my eye figured out.... The other day I had this weird spot in the center of my vision, that was dark and everything was blurry in it. I went to the eye doctor and they said that it looks like I have a pocket of fluid on the back of my retina. So they are sending me to a retina specialist.

Baking | nothing. I got stuff to make pumpkin pie bars, but Derek is out of town, and I don't want to make them until he can take the rest to work! If they stay here, then they will just call my name all day and I can't be having that!

Wearing | Pajamas. Y'all, I could live in pajamas! I always tell Derek that pajamas are my love language! I think it's one of my favorite things about being a human... that we can wear pajamas!

Resolving | to practice the cello for a minimum of an hour a day and at least 5 days a week. I have dreamed of playing the cello since I was a kid, and I am so excited that I am finally doing it... although I wouldn't lie if I didn't say I'm kicking myself for not starting sooner! I could have been playing all these years!
